Is the attached PAS MA Template a new version? It seems to use the PSA indicator not the PSA PRO for input to the columns. I assume we need to modify all the columns for PAS PRO.
, No my friend you are a genius! I did change a couple of the price action columns in the template to PAS PRO and still getting nothing. I guess I need to modify all the columns and see what happens.
Cheers!
btw, I deleted the Price Action Swing Relation file as instructed before installing the new PAS version. One of the template columns have to do with the "PSA Relation". Is that relevant here for the template?
was wondering if someone knows how I can get the swing length and time to output into excel or to print to the output window so I can copy the data out to excel.
In particular I am interested in analyzing size of swing in ticks and length of time as well as time of day.
Please let me know if you have a way, thanks guys.
Folks what is the last version for multicharts?
Could i apply the how to how to trade them by this topic, or is better waite the webinar of Suri?
My best
Yes, redratsal described how to do this in post #396. It involves a very simple tweak to the code, and then copying and pasting the values from the output window to Excel.
Once in Excel, the trick is to then filter out the last number in each positive and negative value sequence (as alluded to in the first screenshot in redratsal's post).
Yes got it. The code might have been updated some so the lines might be off a bit. The general idea remains the same. I got it print everything I wanted to. At first I was nto sure where place the print command, but following his example makes it clear. Thanks.
for the next version I would suggest putting in a snippet of code to terminate at bar end, if the market closes. When selecting time templates other than 27/7 in non-continuous markets it can be misleading at times. I hope this suggestion helps further development of the tool. Thanks again.
