I'm trying to figure out a way to display a HiLo chartstyle bar over a UniRenko candlestick chartstyle in order to show actual price movement within the bar...
Can this or something similar be done ??
I can do it from within a strategy but it goes away if I refresh the strategy and starts replotting from there...
We have a problem with the unirenkobarclose
I tried every flavor on this thread and it just happens that using ZB the indicator does not show the right price.
could someone please see how this could be fixed?
it works well on ES 6E for example but for some reason wont on ZB
I've realized what it is, it's not a mistake really, just the way it's being calculated.
the 6E or ES or CL and alike are 10 based incremental hence it calculates it properly
the ZB is 32 based, and it so for example when price is 166'.24 I'll get 166. 75 which is 24/32
again it converts it to 10 base number
I just wonder if someone could change the code so it takes this into consideration and displays the right price number.
No. Those are called Volume bars. Renko, and its derivatives (Unirenko, Better Renko, Renko Hybrid, etc), by definition is based on a set number of ticks to be breached, before the next bar (of the same set number of ticks) will appear.
If you want to see a bar based on volume traded, you have to use Volume Bars.
After all, it's what you learn AFTER you know it all, that counts!
