So sorry for your loss Devil Man. I pray The Lord gives you the peace that passes all understanding. Thanks for reminding me to appreciate my mom. God bless you buddie
My deepest condolences to you Devil. When I read your post, it brought a few tears back in my eyes. May all the good memories of your mom lighten your heavy heart.
@Devil Man Jonny, I am sorry to hear about your mom.
I've never had a strong relationship with my mom, and after my grandmothers passing late last year that relationship has basically broke down completely to the point where we no longer speak -- which if I am being honest is far less stressful for me.
I am jealous of friends that have loving and supportive families. It is not something to be taken lightly or disregarded, there are many out there that do not enjoy something like that. I miss my grandmother, we were extremely close.
I am thankful that after moving to Ecuador I've been "adopted" by a new family and it provides great comfort knowing there are people around you that are extremely supportive of you.
I too have never had to experience what you are going through. Watching my grandfather die who I was very close to was heartbreaking. Seeing what my Dad experienced gave me an idea of how tough it must be.
