I also found out the hard way that there is more to it than just resetting the max rows to 20. You have to also provide "structure" for rows 11 through 20, meaning their color, size, etc.. I did this and will send you my 20 row version when I can get to it tomorrow.
Here is the indicator DOMAlert401maxrows (attached).
It works like JTRealStats but some alert features were added by another user.
I modified it to work with 20 rows of market depth.
Hope this works for you.
Thanks for your help!
It is interesting why is a lot of order in same price level. This is large trader or many robots? If the price hit this level it is sure something will happens. Unfortunately impossible to know is it Sell stops or Buy limits, Buy stops or Sell limits. Ninja Support said at Level III can be seen but I don't know which instrument has Level III.
Hello NCD,
I've been using this version for a while in place of jtRS401 without issues.
Main attraction, and at same time limitations for me have been lack of 'adaptability' or customisation to accommodate wildly different volumes with different instruments.
E.g. FDAX c/w ES. This version has User Defined scaling factor for histogram width which I surmise you or Zondor added - before this helpful addition I could hardly see anything on FDAX volumes and off the scale on ES. Scaling Factors that make it usable are 0.07 and 1.5, a massive difference in magnitude reflecting thin and thick markets.
Reason for the pre-amble - same issue applies wrt the buy/sell pressure Triangles and the vertical Higher/Same/Lower volume bars, albeit manifesting in different ways.
I wondered if you had any ideas? I understand what the issues are in handling the data to create the triangles and vertical bars (the code you highlighted for the Triangles, for example), and I've looked at the code but its way above my pay grade. Seems loike it would required treating in a similar-ish way to the Histogram width - i.e. ability to 'dial in' a scaling factor to get it to suit your instrument and chart?
TIA
I only expanded the maxrows quantity, and didn't create the scaling capability itself. So, unfortunately, I don't know how to do what you are asking. Suggest you contact NT tech support who were helpful on my modification. Wish I could be more help but I didn't write the code.
The section "// triangles, totals, and ratios above and below the histogram" seems like the right place to start.
