I am a big fan of the BB Width indicator. I like to see the BB Width cross from below 15 to above 20 as a signal of a range expansion / directional / vertical price move. The indicator setup you are using works equally well intra-day on 120 minute, 60 minute and 30 minute time frames.
Another specialized 'squeeze" type is called a TTMS squeeze, I wonder if you have ever looked into it ? TOS has a lot of good quality squeeze indicators, alerts, and scans you might find useful.
Here is an example of the TTMS squeeze indicator. The red dot's indicate the squeeze is in effect, then the colored histogram shows the directional price move out of the squeeze condition with associated bollinger band expansion...
No position in these, as its obviously not the best market environment for shorts. However, if the market decides to correct eventually, nice to have something in mind:
