Amazing.... Wow and here I thought you had written some code that would go through all of futures.io (formerly BMT) and add that message to each one of our journals automatically.
As always I am impressed with all you do for us.
Thanks again.
OK, so I have been involved with trading for few years (off and on) with a normal day job, so not a full time trader. Also been a member of futures.io (formerly BMT) for few years, but not contributed much.
In order to develop my trading to a more 'professional' …
Here is the link to my journal! I am 22 and just started live trading the /ES daily on 9/15. The first few posts were from my first time in the market that did not end up well but does contribute to my overall story, it really starts on the 9/15 post! Thanks
I'm starting this journal on a public forum so I can keep my self accountable for my mistakes instead of making some BS excuse on why I'm not trading well. This is my second round of live trading the first round had me sitting down around 450$. …
Guess it is like a handicap in golf. Since all those in the Elite Journal side are Elite and have a lower handicap
Who knows maybe Big Mike will open the Elite side for journals up to everyone during the contest, just to show the the non-Elite how the other half live.... lol
Now if I could just start hitting the broad side of a barn with my trading I'd be even happier still.
It seems I can't post a link to my journal until I have at least 5 posts. I should reach that soon as I still need to post my trading strategy outline, as well as my first two days of trading - yesterday and today. I will come back and add the link to this post as soon as that's done.
This is my first attempt at creating a journal, and I will be looking to trade the ES every morning and report on my trades, reason for trades, and results in the journal.
Please vote for me if you find my journal useful, by clicking on the 'Thanks' button below.
OK so my strategy is based almost entirely on that used by jwdixon, posted in a journal competition a few years back called 'my ES Scalping Strategy, 2+ pts/day'.
My aim with this journal is exactly as Big Mike described the purpose of journaling …
I will not participate in the contest.
Not because I think it is a bad idea - it is a GREAT contest indeed!
I won't participate because
a) I am trading a combine already and don't intent to start another one. Ever
b) there are so many generous people out here that deserve it to get one of those prices more than I do
Why do I post anyways?
Because I want to explicitly support this contest and express my gratitude to both Mike and the members of futures.io (formerly BMT) for everything they contribute to this site being what it is.
Untrue, votes are counted as I stated. Since I didn't say anything about Elite it means it doesn't matter.
As for being at a disadvantage, I would say virtually everyone who is active in the forum is an Elite Member and probably any "disadvantage" is erased by the support of other Elite Members who want to support the members that also support this site.
In other words, in the voice of Lana on Archer (I like this TV show): "noooope!"
