I also meditate every morning before coming to my trade station. I took around 6 months until I realize the benefits. Today I feel more eelax and conected with the market after my daily meditation session.
It seems I have enough time to take a decision when a trade show up.
So far i have been doing my daily meditation. I meditate two times per day.
In the morning, after shower and before breakfast (you need to be awake but better before breakfast, because otherwise your digestive system kicks in).
In the evening, also before eating.
Important is to keep eyes close for couple minutes after meditation in order to avoid a headache (due to sudden switch from deep rest state into activity).
I have a group-session follow up tonight, it's my 3rd follow-up since i received my mantra.
Too early for significant conclusions, but Saturday i felt very focused.
I only traded SIM (debugging new secret sauce) with some newly developed code
(the idea was in my head a long time, but i was lacking the energies to code it)
and in parallel I fixed a major broken component (those breaks seem to come
at the worst possible moments, that seems to be a second Murphy's law)
I had a group sessions with my TM coach
Long path, slow progress, but tangible benefit for me..
I have included this into my daily planning...
Procedure, routine, predictable, edge, risk management, be smart, be sharp
While i thought this would be more difficult, i did find every day the time to meditate 2 times 20 minutes
I feel myself sharper, more relaxed, more motivated and looking back on the week, i fixed a lot of stuff
and i wrote a lot of new stuff that was 'hanging' there for too long a period...
The teacher explained that doing it only 1 X 20 minutes, does not yield 50% but rather 25%
I am aware this will be a long journey, but so far so good
Another week has passed.
I did meditate twice a day, every day and it has become part of my routine.
I thought it would be more difficult to find the time slots every day, but it is not.
from the beginning i was like seeing these colors, while i read on internet some others do also
see colors, other students in the course didn't have that. while i don't particularly look for that
it keeps coming back
i feel much more focused after meditating, while meditating a 'good' feeling comes, like calm
rest and happiness, warm good feeling and rest.
i have not noticed 'progress', but i guess it is way to early
