I have been comparing the 2 indicators that I mentioned earlier. One on NT7 available through futures.io (formerly BMT)F and the one available on ToS. I would like to congratulate you on your making this indicator an effective indicator and my apologies for my earlier comments.
However I would still insist that when I got involved with Ichimoku and was looking at the one available for Ninja Trader platform, there was a huge difference and the plotting was not correct at all, which lead me to look at ToS and I was more than happy to use ToS and did not go back to Ninja at all, therafter.
Thank you for setting up a good indicator for Ninja Traders' Platform.
Thanks
Steve

Can you help answer these questions from other members on NexusFi?
Just started a thread in this section about a Kumo breakout strategy - if any of you fancy having a go that would be much appreciated If I was n't the world's worst programmer I'd do it myself .......
Hi there. this code is nearly perfect. Only missing component (actually 2). It would be complete if Senkou Span A and can be plotted, and highlighted using selectable colors.
Also, both Span A and Span B price needs to show on the price axis. It seems based on forward cloud, you've already done this. Would it be too much trouble to add the span A and Span B (seprately plotted / selectable colors) and have the most forward values display on the price axis?
Can somebody pls point me to the "definitive" version of the Ichimoku indicator for NT7. So far I have come up short.
The version in the NT forums seems poorly implemented, e.g. the Chikou is offset by 10 periods regardless of the setting I use and the cloud does not show past the latest bar.
Shame on NT for not including an "official" version!
I don't use Ichimoku myself, so don't know about the definitive version.
You can do a search for ichimoku indicators on nexusfi.com (formerly BMT) yourself.
Thanks. I did manage to find IchimokuHL which I have installed. I found one minor "error"- the indicator name in the .CS file has a leading space so it sorts to the top of the indicator list (probably intentional by the developer).
I removed the space so it now sorts correctly.
For those who found the cloud does not show into the future, you need to set the chart properties field "Right side margin" to approx. 100 (pixels).
I am looking for an Ichimoku indicator that will plot the clouds in the future (beyond the latest candle) and also give me alerts.
I installed the AaIchimokuNT7 indicator and it has the alerts, but it does not plot the clouds in the future (beyond the latest candle).
I tried installing the versions below and changed the displacement to 26, but it did not help.
I downloaded the following version and it does plot the cloud into the future beyond the latest bar, but it does not have the alerts.
Has anyone corrected the AaIchimokuNT7 indicator so it will plot the clouds in the future (beyond the latest candle) or another Ichimoku version that has alerts?
