Matt and the crew at Optimus are first rate in my book. They have been extremely helpful setting up my account and getting us up and running.
After an in depth conversation with Matt, I choose to use ADMIS as our clearing FCM. After a few small hiccups (all of them my fault) the account is setup and I am placing some test trades using it. The Rithmic feed seems to be working well and I am getting very good execution & fills on the CL & TF.
I have very different requirements and criteria for this account than most retail traders. This is a testing and results account for a future CTA opening later this year. As such, I needed an FCM with extremely robust capitalization and the support of a strong IB like Optimus.
In addition, Matt put me in touch with a great company that is helping us with our NFA regulatory & compliance preparation. Service and attention to a customer like our's needs is one of the huge differences between Optimus and the other discount IB’s or 2nd Tier FCM’s.
Optimus‘s support of multiple platforms was another big reason we chose them over other IB’s. I am moving our systems from Ninja Trader to MultiCharts. The Optimus crew are very knowledgeable with their MC support and resources.
And, to top it all off, the commissions at Optimus are actually LOWER than what I have paid at a different FCM. And this is before I have traded the full monthly RT’s I anticipate.
In my opinion, it would be very hard to top what they are doing for us in such a short time.

Um. It was technical. He hinted as special pricing if we spoke russian. I said I did, and asked him what kind of special pricing we were talking about... Now I understand, you don't understand russian.
if you noticed he ended his sentence ended with LOL, So the post was just in good spirit, not to be taken literally.
The customer simply received good pricing and support in his native tongue from our team.
Our pricing is based on platform and technology of execution, not languages spoken.

hi @mattz what do you mean by you adding TS...can you pls elaborate...thought only TS offers TS. have couple of TS accts tied to a cust number...was thinking of another one in sometime same/diff cust number...will be good to know whats the diff.
whats the difference opening with TS directly vs opening with Optimus. Could you please shed some light
