Here are my trades on CL this morning. Missed a big runner by moving stop to BE. I think I'm not doing that any more. Gotta give them room. Caught a few later on to make up for it.
Normally I wouldn't trade the news but this morning has been non-stop news so not much choice. Euro & YM untradable.
Still experimenting with CL for timeframe and targets. I think no set rule will work, you really have to know how to cut the losers short. I'm not good at it.
+18 per trade...... more of a scalping mentality. +7 on the first portion,+11 on the balance.
Once my first objective of +7 has been met I move the stop to -7 from entry. If the second objective is not met within a few minutes I pull the plug. On the first trade I'm glad I pulled the plug... on the second I wish I would have let it play out as my second objective would have been met.
Thank you for sharing. Very interesting. How many bars back do you draw the lines on top and bottom of the candles? (for the H1 trades). And do you have an indicator doing the drawing for you, or do you do it yourself?
