Hi,
I am just wondering how the future prices have such slippage on limit or stop orders. Makes me wonder if they are using old computers. Do they make any profit from this?
Just curious,
Tradersword
With questions in the "ask any question" thread, we create a new thread for the question in a section of the forum where it is likely to receive attention from other traders who have a similar interest. We have found that it increases the chance of a good response.
I have copied your post to a new thread in the generic "Traders Hideout" section, since the question affects everyone. You can access the new thread by clicking this box, to see if there have been any replies, or to reply to any:

I have a question about getting real-time data for the Sierra chart. I want to trade Crude Oil (US Oil). What is the cheapest way and what steps should I take in order to have real-time data? What brokerage has the best offer for it? I just need data, I have my own brokerage from my country.
The way we handle these "ask any question" posts is to copy the person's question into a new thread in a section of the forum where it is likely to get the most attention from traders who are familiar with the subject.
I have opened a new thread for your question in the Sierra Chart section, which you can access by clicking this box:

I'm looking for a Ninjatrader indicator that shows the*auto liquidate threshold for an account on the chart in realtime. Ideally with a line on the chart that automatically moves/updates while changing the position size.
and/or
An indicator that shows the loss at a certain price point on mouse click or cursor hover, depending on current position size.
Does anyone know about such an indicator? Or know how the make one?
The way we respond to questions in this "ask any question" thread is to create a new thread for the question in a section of the forum where it is likely to receive the most attention from other members, and then we copy the post with the question into that new thread. We have found that it often results in the question being seen and responded to by other people who have an interest in its topic, and who will respond with some direction or info.
I have created a new thread for you in the NinjaTrader section of the forum. You can access it by clicking on this box:

When we get questions in this "ask any question" section, we create a new thread for the question and transfer the post into it. We try to pick a thread location on the forum where is likely to be seen by the most members who have an interest in the type of question, so it has a better chance of being seen and answered.
I have opened a new thread for you in the generic "Traders Hideout" section and copied your post to it. You have a very general question, so this seems like the best place for it.
