I had an account with PFG, but never spoke anything good about the company before. But now I want to say this: I don't regret that I had my account with PFG even though I don't know how much I can get back. The reason is very simple, there were truly many good people in the company and they helped me along the way. I did not desire post anything about this unfortunate event, but decided to give Zelek11 some support. Thanks for your post. Many are just making fun out of it.
I am sure he bought it because he wanted to publish his his own books:
"The idiot's guide to PO Boxes"
"PDF cut and paste for advanced users"
"OPM all the way"

He did publish a book though... "All about Futures - The easy way to get started"... bought it at a Trading Expo just when I started day trading... it's the worst book on trading I have on my shelf... poorly structured and written...
Just skimmed through the book again... there is even a section on broker due diligence... and as one criterion he mentions "honesty", with a whole paragraph about it...
"The FCM's are required to keep their customer funds segregated from their operating capital... that's religion in the FCM world... we don't ever violate that"
Last December, speaking at the PFG Christmas party ... Wasendorf rambled and said that while he was proud of creating Peregrine after his first year in business, you never know how things will turn out ...
