Further plans:
Sell the WH C500 (or similar) at a price of 450 - 460 of the outright.
Sell the CF C370 just above current level.
World-wide there is a lot of grains, and weather in South America looks promising. Seasonals are
bearish for both commodities after end of October.
Best regards, Myrrdin
Sold the CF C370 at 8 4.
Best regards, Myrrdin

How do you calculate 6X IM?

How do you calculate 6X IM?
The IM on 10/13/16 was 296. I multiply that by 6 to get the margin and excess I held for that position. $1,776. Net profit was $84.16.
Formula to calculate monthly ROI is
365/Days Held/12*Net profit/total of margin and excess held.
So for this example
365/13/12*84.16/1776=11.1% monthly ROI

Volatility is relatively low, thus, I would not sell a strangle.
I do not have an idea if the next move will be up or down. Thus, I so not intend to sell puts or calls.
In addition, volatility might rise when we approch the next OPEC Meeting in Vienna. Not a good time to sell CL options.
Best regards, Myrrdin
