Hi, I want to scan stocks for a specific criterion. my criterion is: to scan a specific date for the highest closing price that was passed beyond but the highest point in a day was not passed beyond. or vice versa. for example: January 1th-30th. I want to be able to scan the stocks not only in US but various world stock markets, too. I'm looking for a software or a sysyem that can do this. Is there anyone who can help me about this ?
I have been having a difficult time finding an opening gap screener that will work before market opens using the pre market price and the previous day closing price
Does anyone know of one that can do that?
Thanks
I've only seen it mentioned once in this thread but I want to put in my vote for Stockfecther.
With Stockfetcher you can write scripts to find the exact set up you are looking for.
There are plenty on examples to help you with script writing. There is also a very active forum where users post their filters (scripts).
One disadvantage with SF is that the data is delayed so it may not be a good choice for intraday trading.
The cost to subscribe to the website is very reasonable. I've been a member for several years.
