I'd like to see 20 or more traders join us in this fun competition. Although I don't see it as a competition, it's really a way to learn from other traders who have different methods. If others want to join us rest assured there is no pressure, win or lose, trade Live or Sims, it's all about having fun and learning different techniques. I hope we can see more of you here for our next competition on 01/01/18, Thanks...JP.
@jackbravo just a suggestion , it might be helpful for participants to do a brief summary at the end of the week describing what worked what didn't and one thing they intend doing differently the following week. As an example one might say that hesitation caused missed opportunity so next week the intention is to focus on taking signals when presented.
Just a thought.
I would go on stage further...what positives can you take from this week @jackbravo (or anyone else)
Gaps don’t always fill.
If they don’t fill next day suggests strength in the direction away from gap.
You didn’t get murdered despite going against the flow this week.
You are here putting it all out there on the line and have taken the first step towards the future.
Areas you can work on?
Have you got a written plan?
Do you have a trade entry “setup”?
Pre day analysis, 60min analysis?
Assuming your goal is to become consistently profitable you need to become consistent with your actions then you have a yardstick to measure against.
Remember you are embarking on the hardest challenge there is, Day trading. Treat every day like it’s your last and most of all enjoy it. The only competition here is with yourself. We are all here for each other
