Have you ever heard of the ZombiePack2 collection of indicators? It's free and contains source code.
Today, I pushed an update to the Zombie2SetupAlerts which now includes the "SetupWave". The "SetupWave" is designed to measure market "energy"; one of the 3 keys of market eval. In the screenshot below, the "SetupWave" is showing me that the energy is far too low for me to trade profitably. The "gray" waves (boxes) show "dots-to-diamond" trade setups (part of the ZombiePack2) that ended in losses while the "blue" waves(boxes) show "dots-to-diamond" trade setups that ended in gains. The "B" indicates a "buy" setup and "S" indicates a "sell" setup. The number indicates the number of ticks gained or lost if the setup was taken.
Going foward, I plan to enter trades only after the SetupWave shows at least 1 strong blue wave...validating that the market has enough "energy" for me to properly "fast scalp" for this SIM challenge.
Very interesting results! Can I ask how many points you try to get out of a trade on average? I see that you are posting the average tick gain, but I guess that includes the losing trades as well.
Below is a break down of my stats from yesterday's trading:
Winners Only: 18.80 average tick gain per contract with total gain volume of 866 contracts (commissions included)
Losers Only: -67.36 average tick loss per contract with total gain volume of 70 contracts (commissions included)
