My opinion is that location was to stop spam. If someone says they reside in Chicago but have always posted from Kazakhstan ip address; then we have deceptive practices at work.
In addition to my last post, @GFIs1 I directly apologize to you. It was never my intention to cause a problem. I clearly made a mistake and I hope you will consider accepting my apology.
Mistakes happen to all of us. But where I have to express absolute criticism, also in your sense towards @Big Mike, is the following:
For months, there has been fiddling around with the forum as if everyone here was only interested in IT and how to put together a forum.
It's really bugging and totally annoying. I have never seen such a tinkering around in a forum in the last 20 years, only to end up doing something that also annoys paying members, which I am not.
Well, that's how it is at the moment.
Since you have been making a great thread here for years, and are also absolutely respected and popular, I hope that you can free yourself from your absolutely justified anger and frustration on the subject: "Permanent tinkering with the forum as if this is the most important thing here in the forum".
I hope that next Monday you will start posting here again fresh and lively.
I wish you a great weekend with lots of fun, good sex, lots of sun, good wine and exotic food. Skiing in Switzerland is ideal at the moment.
@Symple, I have more than fifteen years of experience in improving the community. You are not forced to be here, especially true for users previously banned. For the rest of us, it is important to continually improve.
Fifteen years has taught me (a) you can't make everyone happy, (b) focus on the positives and not the negatives. For every hate filled vendor that threatens to kill me, my wife and my dogs, there are 1,000 or maybe 10,000 people that are extremely thankful that the site exists and are happy to be a supporting member.
If you want to continue this please bring it to the changelog thread. I do not want to post in someone's journal with such an off-topic item.
That's ok and thanks for your answer. Let's hoppe @GFIs1 will be back on Monday as usuall and all the rest will selltle down by it self.
Have a nice weekend with your wife and your dogs. And if someone threatens you where you live, then let the forum know as I am sure there are more than enough people here who can give you advice how to protect your self in the best way.
Big Mike has created an informal platform for traders around the globe. Three names have been created for the website so far.
The starting point is the 'NICK', under which a user "recognises" himself or herself. Of course, this cannot be controlled from the outside. Which country you are in is purely a matter of folklore. It is true that this author has already met some people / traders in his country personally. However, the country information is neither reliable nor verifiable.
Conclusion: Data of each writer is a minor matter and completely volatile - in no case to be understood as guaranteed. Therefore actually obsolete. The only important connection for the platform operator is the payment connection for so-called elite members. Everything else is decor.
Now to my contributions to the blog: Every line I write is my intellectual property. I put a lot of work into realising text, charts and answering questions. I receive 'thanks' for the publication - the effort is and remains unpaid.
The platform thrives on the exchange of knowledge and half-knowledge in the difficult field of trading, which has very different facets such as profit, risk of loss, cost consequences etc. depending on the product.
The data collection rage on the Internet is producing strange blossoms. The laws are barely keeping pace with developments. What is this data used for? Pure moneymaking - in many cases with fraudulent intentions. (I am explicitly not accusing NexusFi of this). Nevertheless, the website lives from advertising and the growing community.
I am completely against these sometimes nonsensical mandatory personal data, which have no connection with the purpose of the platform.
Need a shining example? It is now mandatory to ask for the NUMBER of trades per day... My most frequently used thread already contains this in the title: ONE!
Instead of sharing the experiences of traders with newcomers, the focus here is only on making money. The new platform is in no way better than the very first one. Despite huge efforts, the current one is unfortunately still not ready. The user is forced to adapt to constant changes and usually fights a mirror fencing battle. Unspeakable.
To cut a long story short: I have lost confidence and flow. Until these legal issues are clarified, I'm treading on very thin ice. As I do not offer any asset management services for third parties via the platform, my responsibility for my contributions is 'ZERO'.
With this in mind, I am requesting a huge tightening of the user requirements so that we can get back to the topic of TRADING.
There is/was an option for "Daily". I am not sure how that doesn't fit with one trade per day, if you could explain it to me and especially if you can present new improved options, I am soliciting that feedback.
