Hi, I want to acknowledge your journal. Excellent trading.

I'm in New Zealand and am considering trading the DAX because of my time zone. It is better than the US markets. I hope to get some results by just trading Wednesday shorts.

Thanks for following and your question above.
I am using L&S chart of the DAX.
This is Lang & Schwarz in Germany having some more volatile pricing under full volume.
So my charts & pricing is always slightly different from the Frankfurt numbers.
In fact my entry and exits are always at the minute shown in my post(s).

Do those charts front-run Frankfurt? If I followed your entry signal, would it be a time entry rather than a price entry? You enter at 9.30, and I enter at 9.30 on Frankfurt. The number is different, but the movement is the same.

Yes - they have different trading hours: starting 7:30 live (pre cash of the DAX) ending 22:00 long after the DAX closing.
So one has a good feeling of where the price is steering in the morning - and eventually after cash hours into the evening.
With that the big picture gets even easier to read.

I had no idea how much the price differs from platforms. I few points etc I understand, but this is huge.
