im going to start showing the 3 instruments on 1 monitor.For the purpose of showing as much of the big picture as possible, each instrument will have a 5min and a 30 min.
The 30 min will be able to show almost 2 days of data.There will be no indicators on the 30.Only the ranges of asia/london/ny for each instrument.
The 5min will have ib range(30 min),basic keltner channel, and optional macd /vol on bottom.Also will show prev days rth h/l/c
Off on the other monitors i will have my 1 min charts with basic histogram.There are many divergences /convergences throughout the day on the 1min, it has been a challenge to pick the correct ones
I believe that even the 5min can be too fast, hence the addition of the 30 min.
Regarding the midline keltner.The Keltner lines are guidelines.They are not absolutes.I say this, because when i put any lines on my charts, i have a habit of treating them as absolutes.The midline trendplays , i think, can only be used later in the day.If i am looking for midline plays off the open, perhaps i missed the real trade...
