Thanks for sharing with our community. I do have a question about Multi-Timeframe indicators/strategies. Any changes there or are they handled the same way they are today with the, ADD() or any improvements?
I would get right into it now as the programming changes are minor. The learning curve is steep but well worth the effort in my opinion. Being able to program your own ideas directly into your trading system will likely take your trading in a direction you never dreamed possible. It enables the trader an almost infinite idea generation and testing environment.
Furthermore, its product support is second to none, far better than many far larger software companies I've dealt with over the years. One thing I've continued to appreciate as a "developing programmer" is the patience of their support team over the years and fast responses to my questions posted on the ninjatrader forum. Within an hour or two a response to an issue is sitting in my mailbox.
Admittedly, I've been guilty a few times of blaming ninjatrader for system crashes which have been entirely my doing from very poor and inefficient programming. Lucky we have the indicator police @Zondor with his new neck tie to sort those issues out.
One thing we are working on right now is the development of official online training (paid) centered on NinjaScript. The 1st course (2 days) will be targetted for non-programmers using the wizard and Strategy Analyzer. The second course we will release is focused on programming in NinjaScript for new programmers. I hope to have this in full swing by the end of Q1 next year.
