If you are using NT7, take a look at the chart properties put "Equidistant bar spaceing"= TRUE, this maybe your problem. Do you have a second chart on this chart using multi charting ?
For the record, you have to click RIGHT mouse button on the chart and select properties, then look in the section AXIS for the equidistant bar spacing.
Lets see how we can help you. Can you please open a CLEAN chart of 4 range, and put ONLY the ForceIndex indicator onto the chart. Let me know if if this chart shows the FI correctly. We will then take it from there.
I procrastinated for hours yet it took merely a moment to implement your suggestion (), bringing new meaning to the expression "newbie".
That said, the issue appears to be some incorrect adjustment I'm making in the "parameters" because the default version of the Force Index looks fine.
Meanwhile I'm going to begin posting all of my indicators with accompanying parameters, Perry, and humbly request you to take a quick look-see to ensure that I'm not missing or haven't overlooked anything, which I'm certain I did. It was a tiny bit confusing for me when the platform evolved away from the initial indicators listed in the first few posts. And I don't want to begin trading on the Sim, which I will be taking very seriously, until I'm confident my chart is lined up correctly.
