-If you have not had the opportunity to register to convert your account to Continuum and would like to be notified when registration re-opens, please email [email protected].
Also if you go to Kinetick, a message pops up when you click subscribe notifying you that the rebates have stopped. https://www.kinetick.com/purchase.php
Maybe they continue the rebates at a later time since I think you need kinetick to run Continuum.
I got pretty nervous mostly because of the non-communication from Mirus. I don't require a lot of hand holding (started trading grains in the '80's) and never had any problems with Mirus. I just didn't want to get into a situation where my margin money was tied up for an extended period of time. I did a fair amount of research on this site, on broker sites, and other forums before deciding to go with Optimus. I have had several communications with Matt, and all have been handled very quickly.
Matt's office acknowledged receipt of my account application, and included some links to other resources at Optimus. One of the links didn't work (no big deal), but I emailed them, and within 30 minutes, I had a response with an alternate link. If that is indicative of their service level, I am in the right place.
I also liked their "no pie in the sky" approach to accounts. Keeping an eye on leverage levels is a really good plan. I don't like keeping more money than necessary at a brokerage, but fully understand their conservative approach to margin requirements. Commissions are not the cheapest I found, but to me, commissions are a small part of the equation. A few cents per trade for superior service is good by me.
I may have more after the account is activated and trading begins. If I do, I will post it on the brokers forum.
These are precisely the reasons that I elected to move to Optimus. And the service level has remained consistent after opening the account. I can't say enough good stuff about these guys.
