I don't know if this been asked before but does NT8 allow to backtest a portfolio strategies (on various instrument) and provide aggregated performance report?
I am struggling with excel on NT7 (my excels skills are pretty much existent)
Otherwise, still on track for the beta this month? (only 3.5 weeks left)
Can you help answer these questions from other members on NexusFi?
Seems to work for me, maybe we are not on the same page. I don't want to pollute this NT8 thread so if you can't get this working, please reach out directly to our support team.
As per this image, you can see that the MA is only showing rows where values for the Stochastics column are between 30 and 70.
- As per post #760 (thanks for this workaround) you would have to write a custom indicator
- Alternatively and not exactly what you want, you could add cell conditions to color the cell to transparent if above 70 and below 30
My point is you can't look at both edges "Top/bottom" for a indicator. At the moment you can only look one way. I find it a waste of time to make custom indicator to do that.
So there are missing a simple condition to do that.
I was wondering if NT8 will let you pause and and resume optimization and walk forward?
In NT7 it's quite frustrating that we are not able to pause half way through, and be able to resume it later. Also it would be nice to get to see what's are the results of the optimization as it progress. Finally stopping the optimization doesn't always properly stop it and no other optimization are possible without restarting the software.
Does NT8 improve any of the above?
