Unfortunately OpenOffice and Libra are not supported. You can't convert the file to .xls or .xlsx without breaking it. Most of the really fancy stuff is VBA...
Hi Trad3r, I'm not sure you are aware you can get Microsoft Office 2010 Home and Student version for $125 (or chepear on other budget sites) and you can install it up to 3 PCs. So it would be around $40 per PC.
Does the spreadsheet have to be run in MS Excel 2010?
I run in MS Ofiice 2007. And it crash a few time .
Also, I tried to play around and try to use it for stock. On the instrument list, I could not change point value to a value below $17. Every time I chang it to any figure below 17, it would give me an error message when I save the sheet. The error message is " A fomula in this worksheet contains one or more invalid refrences .... "
Is it because the spreadsheet could only be used for futures as the point vlaue is above 20.

I couldn't find anything that did this style of thing, so I ended up making my own.
I got this far and became sidetracked on other things.
To give you an idea of what I keep, here are some screen shots.
Neil.
You put in the details for the instrument you are trading, this makes the trade entry easier and faster.
You create a strategy Entry AND/OR Exit, again makes the trade recording easier.
Apart from the fact that now it is written in stone so to speak.
As each trade is performed, you record the details (or at the end of the day)
Because you have already defined the general details above, it makes the entry of the trade details faster but also hopefully reminds you to stick to the rules.
Basically, you fill out the first section of the daily diary prior to the market open.
Then finish the rest and do a performance review
