No, that's not what they are doing. Commissions are nowhere to be found on their website. I had to email them and the info they gave turned out to be wrong when I emailed second time for some extra detail (same person answered both). If it was on their website I wouldn't have to spend my time on this and wouldn't depend on the answering person to be knowledgeable enough to provide accurate info from the first go. There's nothing upfront about this.
I agree with you 100% : my comment included the words "to me", because the situation is such that I personally will stop using Ninja for the time being as I have no (free) data.
I only need very simple charting (TradeStation charting is excellent) + a good DOM for trade execution + low intraday futures margins - if Mirus sort themselves out, they may offer a solution that works for me without Ninja, who I have been with since v2, when it was "just" a front-end for IB. I don't want to open another account at the moment, because I already have TradeStation & Saxo (for longer term position trading).
Until this fiasco, Mirus - via Sean Reilly - provided exemplary support.
You sure about that? Can someone trading with Amp confirm that? According to the calculator I thought they charge 1,66 per side for the YM with SC/AMPttnet setup?
