Please,
I was looking in a site about Bollinger Bands and they use the Intraday Intensity Oscillator that I beleive it is very good indicator. Do you know how to code it for Ninja Trader?
I stumbed across this thread and think it's a great idea (please can I have Fat Tails on my team!)
I would like to see some questions on risk.
Explain what mutiples of R is and how would you calculate it?
(R is short for Risk and is simply the amount of money risked on a trade. Multiples of R can be used to determine profit targets or as a metric to assess returns relative to average risk over a sequence of trades.)
What is Risk of Ruin?
(An estimate of the chances you will blow your account given historic payoff ratio, win ratio and % of capital risked per trade)
How would you calculate Payoff Ratio?
(Average winner$/Average loser$)
How would you calculate Expectancy?
((Win % * Av. Win) - (Loss % * Av. Loss))
What is the purpose of Monte Carlo testing?
(not a single answer to this one, but my take would be: understand the likely boundaries of maximum drawdown, max loss runs)
