I use CTS T4 Platform for realtime Sim , it's fast and customer support is outstanding, they have added requests I have submitted and always responded within 24 hours with technical assistance
I've used CTS T4 for about a year now after switching from TT. I really like it alot. The DOM takes some getting used to in the beginning. I think the best thing about it is the reliability. I haven't had one issue since I started with it.(knock on wood) CTS is a professional software. The cost for CTS is cheap for a pro but might be expensive for a retail trader. I would recommend it to any trader.
I thought Cunningham only accepted Institutional clients?
Which is why they set up this retail arm, 5dollarfutures.com, which is the same just a different site?
The thing about Cunningham is, its not a Broker/Dealer, which means it makes its money solely from Clearing, it doesn't trade its own account.
Also Trans Act are not a Broker/Dealer.
Most are Broker/Dealer which I think is a conflict of interest as they can legally trade against you as they have announced the possible conflict of interest publicly by the Broker/Dealer registration.
Any thoughts?
Thanks
I use it through a prop firm but have not live traded with it, there is a list on the CTS site that shows brokers that offer the platform, don't know anything about them, I have heard that Goldman Sachs traders use the platform but don't know if that is fact either....
As far as the conflict of interest I have seen it talked about on the internet, I am an outsider and don't know the inner workings of this stuff but just thinking common "sensically" it seems that all electronic traders would be "traded against" not just with CTS ? I am curious as to thoughts on this as I am considering going live at some point and using CTS for trading.... Thanks, good question
I have been using CTS T4 with Ajax futures a couple of months now and so far the platform has been solid. I really like the DOM, but i currently use a different charting service, so I can't comment on that. If you are thinking of trying it out give Anthony at Ajax a call, the man is first class.
CTS T4 is a great platform. The data is clean and speedy (neck and neck with CQG) and the DOM is quite good when even compared to TT X_TRADER. The charting is basic, but what is there is very nice. CTS support is very helpful as well.
