It's always a good idea to see if there are any runtime errors printing to the output window. Any unhandled exceptions that show up there are potential crash inducers. Everyone should look at the output window once in a while.

Here we go again, I have a new laptop running Windows 8 , NT7.0 latest build, IB , and this one is crashing. I'm going to completely delete everything and start from scratch.
Hi Mike, we always meet under such inauspicious circumstances, well, it was just crashing and leaving behind crash log files, I've just finished deleting everything , I did have some custom indicators (made by pros) so I'm going to be very careful not to load anything suspicious.
