So, I used MC7 all weekend and have encountered no real issues so far.
Down loaded data from IB, changed chart types checking out Renko, etc.
Noticed they have removed that irritating code prompt thing, where you started typing, pressed enter and removed the word next to where you were typing.
So far so good.
Tonight I might get to test the Chart Trader...
Can you help answer these questions from other members on NexusFi?
CL is expiring and I wanted to keep my Continuous contract running and opened another Workspace for the CL(U) contract. When I created a new chart in the workspace it came up "funny-looking". I went back to my continuous chart setups and discovered that the "Use as Default" boxes were no longer "selected".
I have been back and forth between the beta and MC6 over the last few weeks but haven't messed with creating new charts so don't know when this happened. The final release version may not have messed this up.
I'm an IB user. Have lots of continuous futures set up. MC has added an IB symbol directory, but it is not very comprehensive. You probably created your continuous futures symbols based on the eSignal roots, and they don't exist in the new IB symbol list (think EUR, GBP, JPY, etc. ). So things will not work. Scribble down the settings you are using in MC6. Load MC7. Open Quote Manager. Look for missing Symbol Roots in your continuous futures. Create them by adding them to the IB symbol dictionary under Tools. Then open MC.
