How do you find it compared to the first? I played the first several years ago and stopped playing after maybe 5 or 10 hours, it just wasn't very compelling.

I did not play the first, just the look of it wasn't very compelling for me either and I didn't bother with it.

However number 2 got much better reviews, and has amazing graphics, so I thought I would give it a shot.
Personally I am really liking it, but yeah, unfortunately I can't compare it to this first.

It apparently won't be on Xbox until December. I'll check it out after I play with Skyrim for a while

Have any of you guys ever gotten into StarCraft? I have NEVER played it, but some of the guys I know are big fans. They've been telling me to get StarCraft2 for months. I just don't think I'll be into it.

I have it. That's one tough game. I like to think of myself as a person that thrives in competition. But SC2 is on a totally different level. I guess I'm just kicking myself in the shin. I want to move up the leader board, but I don't want to put in the time to get that good.

I just ordered it as walmart had it for $49, which I can deal with.

This will be my first RTS or role playing type game I've really played. I hope I don't turn into one of THOSE people......

I didn't play the original of this game, never heard of it before a few months ago. And the gameplay footage I've seen of it I'm not all that impressed. The gameplay footage I've seen, visually wasn't that stunning either. But this game seems to have one of those amazing plots and concepts that come along every once and a while. Also the trailers for the game are some of the most interesting I've ever seen. So much so that I will probably be getting this game despite my lack of enthusiasm for the footage I've seen. I'm a sucker for a good plot I guess.

This game needs to be made into a movie written and directed by Christopher Nolan (New Batman and Inception).

It could be EPIC with this story and concept!

So I have played this game a little bit, and initially I didn't like it. But, after a little more time with it, it is actually entertaining.

I like it as it's a bit laid back, in that you can play the whole game with just your mouse. So if you want to play a game, but not be too involved like most FPS games, its a nice change of pace.

If you played BF2 and haven't played since, you might want to get back into it.
