It actually shouldn't even be controlled remotely either, the robot should be programmed to fight without the human's slow reaction time. But I guess the same problem may arise where the robot gets hacked or even decides to fight against it's owner.

I was curious. Then found out the same director who directed "Tron: Legacy" had directed Elysium.
Kind of explains it if you thought the directing was a mess. And now not on my short list to want to see anytime soon.
Hope it's not just about "walking dead" survivors of the apocalypse vs. Caesar gone native in the redwoods...
