We'll we've just learned that NT7 is going to be available in a x64 binary after all. That is great news, I am glad they decided to get this done. This should eliminate any problems with memory limitations.
However, I am wondering what kind of delays there will be to the schedule in order to accommodate that.
They are getting ready to roll out the full list of features very soon so I am looking forward to that.

Can you help answer these questions from other members on NexusFi?
The delay is not a surprise, it's ok for me, but why waiting for fixing simple issues ?
Changing how the historical data are stored, ok, it a big job. But a lot of simple things are very easy to fix, I don't understand why we don't have a 6.6, 6.7, ..., and one day the big one, 7.0.
That's not very serious...
Only one answer makes any sense: they don't have the right action plan in place and/or are unable to execute it. Either is inexcusable when you fail at this level. This is not a minor slip. It's a 1 year (at least) delay.
Guess I will have to look at MultiCharts again a little closer. At least they are in touch with their community and seek out their advice, instead of shunning them and working to keep everything secretive.
You can also look at Neoticker, but be for warned, it's not for the faint of heart. If you want a program that can do it all, this is it, but you better know how to program a little.
It is the most comprehensive trading software I own and have come across in the market place. It can do some real heavy lifting.
The one new feature that will keep me with Ninja anxiously awaiting NT7 is its support for both live and EOD data for Metastock. The live data is part of a retired institutional product (BridgeStation). It will make for a pretty sick combo.
