I somehow can't get it draw fibs for the prior ETH session. When I set the parameter to AUTO or RTH, it draws Fibs for previous day's RTH, but when set to ETH, I could not get the fib lines to match with any of the obvious swings within the last 2 days. I will try again to day. All other MTF indicators work correctly
Will keep you posted -and thanks.
Cheers,
Kumar
Can you help answer these questions from other members on NexusFi?
The first chart is from before the market open with the settings, the 2nd is the same chart after market open.
I am sure I am missing something because all other 'ana' indicators seem to work fine.
Thank,
Kumar
p.s.: I think I know what is going on! I was looking for Fibs for the overnight session, but ETH setting plots fibs over the entire trading day - right?
ETH definitely plots fibs based on the high, low and close of the ETH session.
If I look at the first chart, the indicator collects
- High 1352.00
- Low 1337.75
which are ETH high and low of January 14. Nothing wrong about that.
If I look at the second chart, the indicator collects
- High 1352.00
- Low 1337.75
These are still the same values. And they are still correct, as they are based on the prior day's ETH session. The open of the regular trading hours does not change anything.
