#3 has a little more low end than #1 but's it's missing some of the low mids. It also has more of a tinny sound
predominately seen at around 2-4kHz in the male voice.
I think #1 has the most even frequency response out of the 3 microphones.
In all the webinars I've viewed on futures.io (formerly BMT) I always thought your mic (during the introduction) was much better than the presenter's in most cases. Some sound like they're broadcasting from a cell phone in a port-a-potty!
I vote for 1 then 3 ........ was wondering if you're using a pop filter?
I will share all the details after some more people share their impressions.
I also have a 4th mic that will be here Monday that I will add to the lineup for testing. Then decisions to be made about which one to keep, and which to return or ebay.
I took part of your original mic #1 and recorded it as is. I also took that
and put it through a, I think, a high pass filter, in a free program called Audacity.
The second version doesn't sound great, but is just an example of what can
be done to make what you have already, sound a little better.
The link should show you that you can remove all that bass with some software.
Unfortunately I don't know what software to tell you to use since you are dealing
with making videos.Audacity only deals with mp3, wav. etc which I didn't know till just now.
There must be something out there though, for altering audio in videos???
