Hi GFIs1. Thanks for posting your trade today. I can't seem to recall many entries at 12.30 on a Monday. Is it possible share the basis for today's trade open? Best of luck today and continued thanks for sharing your trading with the forum.
Yes - this Monday open was a very special one:
Dax opened with a up GAP. Then was diving into previous day (FR) - this needs the special rule for
a short - but taken 2 hours later...
Hope it will produce some points
GFIs1
PS: next post about a tricky week here and the next one
PS I: The point for entry short was 12652 - the upper cloud of 30m chart. It was indeed the turning point
for a short. Let's see
As posted before - we are heading a rare combination:
Short week - because of closed exchanges in Germany on Thursday.
Open on Friday - even there is a LOOOOONG weekend...
Monday closed (US Memorial Day)
and
Wednesday is last of month... oops!
Quite some combination and uncertain to when NOT to trade!
Let's see what comes up and deciding when things get clear.

PS: for all not sure to trade - STAY AT THE SIDELINE
I fully agree.
Those special situations cause 'jumps' where my AI tooling seems to have an issue with,
as we get out of the normal sequence, Mon to Fri.
Expiration, Holiday, Holiday, End of the month
Sometimes it is better to know, when not to trade than try to take the next trade
in a sequence that doesn't stack up...
