Today a longer trade is foreseen. This is due to the happening of ECB on a Wednesday.
ECB decision 13:45 and press conference 14:30 (as @choke mentioned above).
On the decision some shaky move(s) are normal.
Having looked back at your journal and seeing your trades, the impression I get is that your indicators/charting skills are NOT the issue to your + points on the year.They key is to the same old adage-
ECB is never gambling - some signs are often to see in the morning already.
But US numbers can shake up a lot - so right then it is best to stay at the sidelines.
As posted earlier, I certainly have a different risk preference on e.g. ECB days,
but after all 30p are a fair price for testing the market.
So it's less like gambling but more like poker:
Some are tighter, some are not.
You calculate the odds and make your bets accordingly.
The reward comes with the number of profitable bets, not with any individual bet.

This is ALL part of the game.
Over the long haul it does not matter as the money managment was ok.
