Can I do everything I want in a Strategy? Why use an indicator?

Hi Raffu, how do you do indicators INSIDE of strategies? Are you saying that you insert a Strategy on your chart - which in turn calls an Indicator? Please advise. Sorry if I wasn't clear. I mean that I have done "normal type" indicators (like SMA and other "standard" ones) and use those inside own strategies. After that it is possible to change indicator to be more clever and no need to change strategy which use it. Example: "Binary" indicators from my site: Custom NinjaTrader …

It is a reality distortion field, I swtiched from strategy to discretionary trading as I was not able to put it the way you describe it in your post, but I am glad I did it + my trading now is much more fun; that's just me

I did that for years... only to realize that I don't have the discipline to trade manually. I am better, but not following my system/indicators and letting emotion run my trades was/is killing me.

I will take the time to get this in automation - it may take a year.... I will do it.
