The BBC video shows it software controlled but it has a button you can just press, presumably there is a delay.
Someone's review described just pressing it when they looked at refined sugar for example. The limbic system (amygdala etc.) is most would agree from my own research, not under significant/any conscious control. You can't talk to it, it learns by it's own experience.. a passenger sharing the senses.
But it would only work for a % and maybe half the reviews are kickstarter funders Possibly a connector for over trading, moving stops, failure to enter a position on valid signal if suffering from 'The Fear'?
I am presuming the shock is more distressing than a rubber band of course

I wouldn't mind trying it - I remember an episode of an old UK series called The Prisoner where a guy is 'conditioned' to learn handling things with his other hand by means of electric shocks. This was back in the 60s, so perhaps some research provided early indication the method could alter some behaviours.
