Hello everyone,

Ive been trading on and off for the past 23 years with mostly large cap stocks. Around 2018 got the itch to spend some time learning different trading strategies. It wasn't until Jan of 2022 that I made and effort to actually do this on a daily basis and put in some screen time.

Initially I started with a $35k account and had some wild swings and eventually blew the account in Aug 22. Around that time I was introduced to futures trading. From Sept 22 to end of Nov 22 I traded a sim account working on different trading strategies and applying some of the knowledge I had gained in the past. In December of 22 I funded another smaller account and got started trading ES, focusing on 3 strategies depending on the type of market condition that day. I took 1-2 trades per day and am happy to say im still alive and the account has grown slowly but surely.

Im here to continue learning new strategies. Much appreciated!

I was trading 17 years ago and stopped because I got too bored looking at forex prices for hours.
Two years ago I got bored being retired, so I started trading cfd's on futures.
Blew up cfd account one time. Now I am going for futures.
Just opened an account at Ironbeam/Optimus.
Some day I will probably switch from Tradingview to Sierra Chart

Long time lurker, new elite member. Like many, I too have blown up my account many times. I take breaks, reassess, and try again. I'm primarily a scalper with a daily goal of $100-$300 a day, and only trade the ES. I work full time, so I primarily trade the open. I haven't seen this kind of volatility in a long time. August is usually dead, and so is summer, but not this year, which gives me encouragement. I need movement for my scalps. Looking forward to learning more here. Thanks.

I'm looking forward to trading futures during the Asian session. I get a lot of ideas but struggle with sticking to a strategy for more than two weeks at a time. I'm looking for profitable strategies that have been tested during that time period.
