I am ex-pro on-line poker player from 2007-2012. I started investing/trading stocks in 2016. Wish I started sooner. Now I am interested in learning futures. ES index is what I am focusing on. I've enjoyed reading through the threads on this site. Looking forward to checking out what Elite has to offer.
Thanks for the site.

Hi fellow members,
By my early twenties, I earned advanced degrees in Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Applied Physics, and Computer Engineering with emphasis on Robotics and Artificial Intelligence.
In 1987 I started a technology business which is still in operation today.
I've been trading since 1999. I started with money markets, then mutual funds, and eventually stocks. I did alright, but I couldn't out-perform the S&P 500 index.
By 2007, I became semi-retired from my business and had more time to learn about trading.
In 2009, my IRA broker Schwab introduced me to an OPTIONS education company by the name of Optionetics. They were offering an entire courseware and seminar series which included text books, DVDs, and various seminars throughout the country on learning options and sharpening one's options trading skills. I purchased the services for a semi-modest price.
Once I felt comfortable with my knowledge of options trading, I went live. I was doing alright buying mostly directional single-legged options as well as buying bi-directional four-legged options. My experience with options has been growing much faster ever since. In nearly a decade of trading options, my knowledge and experience in options trading has expanded farther out than I could've ever imagined.
By 2013, I became retired from my business which is still operating, now mostly on its own with a small number of employees telecommuting from their homes throughout the L.A. metropolitan basin.
In 2014, I met a master day-trader who became my mentor. He taught me all about Forex and Futures trading. I learned so much about reading charts. I learned places to look for entries and exits. I learned about placing and trailing stops. I purchased a multi-user version of NinjaTrader and soon after began trading with his guidance.
It has been a tough road and along the way I made some serious mistakes and lost some serious amount of money. I'm so lucky that I had enough money to afford to lose so much and still be able to be standing.
After nearly 20-years of trading, one very important thing that I learned is that in order to setup the most potentially successful trades without letting my ego, greed, and other human emotions blur my daily trading plans, I must teach a computer everything it needs to know in order to execute a trading plan at the most opportune moment.
First I learned and coded in EasyLanguage, NinjaSCript, and ThinkScript. By 2016, I began looking into API coding which lead me to look for brokers with decent API and decent commission structures. Recently, I’ve come to realize that perhaps the best way to go about completing this endeavor would be to first find out which API most coders code for, which API has the most libraries, and which programming language most API coders prefer using.
I’ve been a Futures.io member since it was still called Big Mike. I appreciate any help any of you could give me. Thank you.
I'm new in trading en new here at this place. I want to learn a lot about trading. My goal is to be consistent and make a living off trading . This is a good place for me to learn and share good stuff with each other.
Thanks for creating a place where we can share and learn. I currently trade futures e-mini s&p I have the chart set up from Day Trading Academy and the order flow dom from Jigsaw. Really trying to get some consistency in trading, as I have been at it 1 year. So I look forward to the experience.
So, my name is Robert and I am new here. I would like to make a living out of trading at some point in the future but right now I am still learning. I am from the Netherlands and I have a background in pharmaceutical science and neuro science. As such I am looking to apply some nonlinear dynamics to see if I can utilize that for trading.
my name is Walter. I´m in my mid forties. I worked as a lawyer in Germany for quite a while before I accompanied my wife two years ago on a mission to Peru, where we are living for the next few years.
I used to invest in stocks. About a year ago, having some spare time here in Peru, I got seriously interested in trading, especially futures, and studied with the help of a coach. Up to now I am practicing with great fun and, hopefully, am constantly developing my skills.
I have read through the forum for some time as a guest, encountered a lot of helpful tips, thanks a lot for that.
I'm new to Futures.io. I've been trading since 2015 and have been frustrated ever since. Ha! I haven't blown through my account but I have slowly bled money. I am looking to be a consistently profitable trader. I know it will take hard work but I'm willing to put in the effort.
I'm getting frustrated with all of the trading sites offering "free" webinars only to market their classes and indicators for an obscene amount of money. I've paid $150/month for a trading room membership and haven't ever been profitable with them. I'm pretty confident that the traders on these sites aren't completely honest with their members about their actual trades and profitability.
I'm looking for an honest site for a reasonable cost to help better my trading. I found this site via a Google search and this just might be what I've been looking for. I plan on being an active member and improving my trading!! I look forward to working with all of you.
I'm very new to trading. Only ~6 months of experience in this adventure. Lately, I mostly trade options, but always want to get into futures. I'm really looking forward to learning trading from you guys.
