This happened to me on Friday and I need to know if it has happened to anyone else. I was trading the CL at 7:37 on Ninja Trader with a simple custom strategy- 15 tick target 7tick stop. I was only in the trade 10 seconds total. I bought it at 82.84 and it went my way for about 9 or 10 ticks. I saw it start to retrace back so I tried to slide my stop up. It started to move at me fast so I clicked 2 ticks below my breakeven so I would cut my loss. I was going to try and buy it lower. It gapped down to 82.63 and back up to above 82.84 in less than a second. I researched it on my Order Flow Analytics. I look down and it shows a 210 dollar loss. I called Mirus' order desk, he looks at my logs and said it shows I moved the stop down twice, was rude when I said I did not and did everything but call me a liar. I eventually talked to the supervisor over support and the order desk. He checked my computer for anything that could of automatically moved the stop and found nothing. He then went on to do everything but call me a liar or choking under the pressure!! I do not have a problem with taking a loss that I incur, but I did not move the stop down twice. I only tried to move it up once. The logs do not show that. This seriously shakes my confidence in the markets, Mirus and Ninja trader. I am a fairly new trader and am wondering if this is common or unusual.
