Day Trading Currency Futures W/Multiple time frames
Since I am fairly new at this I have no idea what you are showing me. Are you using the candlesticks as an indicator, the lines crossing? I don't understand what you are showing us when you say other charts confirm the trade. Using waht for indicators?
Just trying to figure out what you are using to trigger the trade?
Thanks

For those who like to follow this trading. Check this out. 3 chart with same entry point on 6B. On 3/14 About 2225 time of entry.
Good Trading.
WK
PS: charts: 30 min, 8tick(r), & 4tick(r) and close using the 4 tick chart.
I have never used TOS and have no need for Think or Swim. I use TS and DTPro and the charts speak for themselves. Maybe you have see that by now. Here are two more examples on how I trade on 6E using the 4 tick(r) range chart. You can use it on any futures contract, be it currency, index, or commodity.

The 4 charts will show you how well my method continues to work.
6A-Aussie Dollar long entry.
60 min, 30 min, 8 tick range and 6 tick range charts with same entry point.
Entry from 103.57-59 and as I type, the price is at 103.89 and climbing.
It just doesn't get any easier than that.
Hope you are continuing to make big gains in the mkts.
WK
PS
For most, you would know, but any short would have been exited at the same price as the long entry.
For those who follow my trading and its accuracy or the ability to catch most moves and its entries, here are several charts during the same time frame showing the entries on the 6A-Aussie Dollar. These setups are identical on any contract I trade. Find which you prefer to trade and perfect it for your trading. Own it and then stick to it. Or plan your trade and trade your plan, as is so often said.
Charts:4tick(r), 6tick(r), 8tick(r), and 6min
Good trading.
WK
This shows the perfect short entry on 4 chart for a gain of 5 to 7 points on TF or RLM on the DTpro charting software. This will make it easy to see. Hope this helps those interested in success.
Good trading.
Hi, I just wanted to thank you for sharing your progress with us. Whilst I am sure you are confident in your system I am struggling to understand it. I have read through all of your threads and was hoping you could clarify some things for me:
I have traded options over a few days but am new to futures and trading tick charts - how do you trade such small time frames? Are you holding a contract just for 2 minutes and then selling it? How do you gain enough ticks to exceed your commissions?
