How often do you sleep? Are you afraid of missing the move?
I think I was junkie trader - or maybe I still am.
In the past, on many occasions I went for 48-60 hours straight, endlessly staring at the bars ...falling asleep at the front of the monitor... guilty that if I go to sleep I will miss the move -- definitely I was.
Are you?
Can you help answer these questions from other members on NexusFi?
Used to be when I first started trading. I used to watch the markets from 7am to 8PM. Then study charts until midnight or later. However, never fell alseep in front of the monitor. Now I keep tabs on the markets during the day while at my day job and spend a few hours a night on learning and watching the markets and of course posting on futures.io (formerly BMT).
anything can be used and/or abused. there's a lot in trading and risk taking that can be thrilling. bungee jumping, fast driving, etc. I felt the risk rush from trading, but it was more painful than a high. Combine that with inevitable loss from not following a logical trading plan and the pain is too big for me. Yes I pulled many all-nighters, my trading performance suffered tho. It took me a long time to work it out.
