It is my great pleasure to announce that Matt Davio will be presenting a webinar on Monday, October 15th @ 4:30 PM Eastern US.
Matt has been a full-time trader for nearly 20 years and trades stocks, futures, commodities and currencies. Matt ran his own hedge fund for many years, and prior to that worked with Peak 6 (Chicago) and Parallax (San Francisco).
Most of you might know Matt Davio from the name "MissTrade" on Twitter or the Blogosphere. He has interviewed hundreds (thousands?) of traders, many of which he has posted on his website:
I felt that Matt was in a unique position -- having interviewed so many traders and been in this business for quite a while as a full time trader -- to offer his assessment as to why most traders fail. So I asked him to create a presentation that focuses on this subject, including how to overcome these challenges.
Here is a brief outline of the webinar:
- Making trading too complicated
- No plan, no rules
- No patience
- Not enough physical or emotional capital
- Failure to take responsibility
- Not doing homework
I am very much looking forward to this webinar, I think the Q&A is going to be awesome.
Guys, this event is filling up fast, so take note that you should join the webinar room early on Monday to ensure you can get in (we have a 500 seat capacity). I'll open the room 30 minutes early at 4pm Eastern.
I caught the tail end of this one but got to hear all of the Q&A. There isnt one thing Matt said that I didnt agree with
Well Done @Big Mike for having him on, I always enjoy hearing experience, I especially like the part concerning multiple time frames and how to trade them, ie.Trade what you see on that time frame
BTW, the background talking towards the end of the webinar was his side (someone talking on the phone), nothing I can do to filter it out. It's manageable.
