I note that SweetFutures is a division of Rosenthal Collins Group, that is, a broker affiliated with RCG. I also note that they offer the NinjaTrader platform (and various platforms too) whereas RCG itself does not offer NinjaTrader platform. Since you already have a LIVE account with SweetFutures, how do you compare their service(s) with other brokers (I don't want to mention any Broker). Please, can you share your experience ?

PS: Mike, can you please help move this post to Brokers and Datafeed thread ?
Sweet is a fantastic broker. They're a family business and you can tell by the personal interest they take in you and the lack of 'pushiness'.
Their platform is #1 in my opinion, Onyx2. However they don't provide a datafeed or simulator if that's what you're looking for. I don't like my charting package to be the same as my order entry program especially with something as unstable as Ninja. Rosenthall may use patsystem for some vendors but not Sweet. Rosenthall is just the clearing firm.
They're not for the all-in-one package seekers. You must have a datafeed and charting come from somewhere else.
I have another account with infinity and think I may just close it because they or their platform can't touch Sweet.
From your notes, it seems that you have two data-feeds for your trading (one for Order entry and another for charting.
You use Onyx2 for Order entry; Right ? And for charting you use Ninja; Right ? So, what data-feed does SweetFutures/Onyx2 use and what data-feed do you use for Ninja ?
Please, what is the minimum deposit for LIVE account opening with SweetFutures ?
It is my experience that most brokers will meet or match any competitive commission quote you get. What you need to look at is what the broker is offering for the commission. It is worth it to me to pay a little higher commission if all my data fees and charting package are included. You have to consider this in the cost before making your decision.
Mirus charges 5.32 rt, which looks is higher that the other ones posted, but they give free data feeds, which would run about $200+ per month. I guess it all depends on your volume of trading. I talked to them about volume discounts and they do offer them if you do over 300 per month. I will call to see if they match. any savings becomes profit.
