Like the last few years, nexusfi.com (formerly BMT) is holding its annual "nexusfi.com (formerly BMT) Best of Trading" awards where the users can select the best of the best in a wide array of categories.
The award process is a two stage event: From now until the end of November, we will hold nominations where the users need to reply to this thread and nominate the candidates.
Then during December we will hold the actual voting, where users will cast their votes and select the winners in each category. Remember, we can only vote if first a name has been nominated!
So step one is to make nominations in each of the following categories:
nexusfi.com (formerly BMT) Member of the Year
nexusfi.com (formerly BMT) Thread of the Year
nexusfi.com (formerly BMT) Journal of the Year
nexusfi.com (formerly BMT) Programmer of the Year
nexusfi.com (formerly BMT) Indicator of the Year

Indicators/systems/webinars/books etc do not need to have been created in 2011 in order to qualify. This thread is for the Best of Trading, which means the best that currently exists, regardless of when it was created.
I felt that we needed a thread dedicated to the discussion of Volume Profile.

In a recent survey about webinars, a lot of members expressed interest in learning more about the elusive "price action" that many traders talk about and refer to.
It is my intent with this thread to try and document price action from my point …
I have to say, my focus has started to move more in the direction of AI for Bot development. I have played with Neural Networks and fuzzy logic. One new entry which I think has promise is the "Artificial Bee Colony (ABC) Algorithm".
Both Fed Chairman Bernanke’s remarks yesterday and President Obama’s speech last night about his jobs plan; combined, failed to reassure the market that a solution to the country’s economic woes was at hand, and the …
Surfing is often used as an analogy to trading, and most traders dream of catching the big waves. But, similar to trying to surf monster waves, if you haven't acquired the necessary skills to do so, you 'll probably wind …
This is my first post in my new journal. In it I will attempt to document my set ups, my reasoning behind why I took the trades, along with the emotions I was feeling during the trades.
I will also attempt to post a chart daily and at least once a week, …
Hey guys, I thought many of you would enjoy and benefit from this thread. My intention is to have each poster reply and describe in as much detail as possible an indicator they want created for NinjaTrader.
I often think of trade ideas, but seldom have time to perform analysis on them. I have even thought of hiring an "intern" type of person that could crunch numbers all day, but I thought I would try this thread first.
I would like to start with a simple statement of the primary idea of this post is to help me. Yes, I said me. I hope it will help you as well, but, to be honest, if it helps me and not you, then I am still happy. :) I can't help you …

For outsmarting regulators.
I'm thinking we should add a category for "futures.io (formerly BMT) Best Journal of the Year", since many of my nominations for thread of the year in the last post are actually journals.
Also, since we already have a MVP (member of the year), should we add a Rookie of the year?
Since there is too many journal in this forum, sometimes I don't know which one is the best to read. I only refer to the amount of replies and views to figure out which one I should read.
However, it only means that the journal had been exist a long time but doesn't mean it is the best.
