I am sorry, but we have had to disallow Discord groups on the forum. The reason is simply that too many vendors use them to fish for new customers, using the forum as a way to bring them in.

Obviously, not everyone is doing this, but we have had to make it a site-wide rule. It's unfortunate that it affects the innocent as well as the guilty, but making it a rule without exceptions is the only way we can be sure to prevent the practice. So everyone suffers a little, and we regret this. But it can't be helped.

I totally understand and respect @bobwest's decision to enforce the "no discord" rule, so not arguing at all, but...

this forum is kinda dead these days, and not very conducive to the chat format, so, for purely selfish reasons, I wouldn't mind seeing that discord link. Besides, I'm a big boy - I can decide for myself if it's another BS scammer or not.

That said, as a long-time member and fan of this forum and its moderators, I will not question or challenge this website's rules, but will instead simply encourage @DarthDion to participate more actively here on futures.io We could really use a few more bond and bund people around here!

I am totally onboard with the policy too (had no idea that there was one).. a bit long in the tooth in this industry and especially with the scammers and vendors. It is unfortunate, with us Bund traders being very niche too lol. I trade purely order flow, there isn't much by way of analysis so not sure I could contribute in this format in a meaningful way (I'll try). The private group is just a few of us bouncing off each for support, motivation etc.. I'm certainly not in it for monetary reasons but ya know, gotta respect the rules...
