Search results feedback Hey Mike Since you implemented the new search approach some things are not working as expected. Example: If I want to go back and look at The Scalper's Journey thread, typing 'the scalper's journey' returns this As you can see, the exact match for the thread title is returned, but it is way down the list of threads - not the expected result. Also, if I click on the thread's down arrow I am brought to the last post of the thread which is expected, however if I click on the thread itself it will take me to a random page. In the example above it will take me to this post The Scalper's Journey Yeah he's ok. Towards the more recent posts you will find that he decided to stop being on FIO. Can't remember the reason given but that was that. He also had his own thread where he was explaining extensively some trading concepts. A very … If I search for 'spoos" and I click on the Spoo-nalysis thread, similarly I am pointed to this post Spoo-nalysis ES e-mini futures S&P 500 Sounds pretty simple...:faint: Seriously though, thanks for the info...I will dig through it on the weekend. It's super complicated. But a few comments:

a) I agree exact match should be at top
b) The 'random' post when clicked on link is not actually random, but rather the exact post that the search engine thinks is the most relevant to your query
c) The UI/UX needs improvement so users can select the thread itself (post #1, so it's not 'random') and also a way to sort by relevancy vs sort by magic.

The 'magic' right now tries to prioritize recency slightly over relevancy, for the first five entries. As to why an exact title match is so far down, that seems like it shouldn't happen and I can only guess its based on very high frequency usage of the word journey or scalp in the top result thread, throwing off the rest of the figures.

I have been trying lots of different mechanisms to improve the UI/UX but so far haven't been able to settle on one.

@GFIs1 et all, the "frequency" and "duration" are now reverted so that no one is required to input them.

I would still appreciate a list of replacement options if you anyone can generate a new list. I also added a "Other" option. There was already a selection for daily, and not just multiple times daily, which would seem to cover @GFIs1 complaint about not having an appropriate option to choose.

I removed it as well as other changes to navbar to make room for something new.. Soon ...

The count is still visible if you hover over it.

Please report any issues. This should make it easier to mention people. It will appear after you type the @ character followed by anything other than space.

This is a bit complex piece of code so there may be some bugs initially, please let me know.

You can also just hit <tab> as you are typing and it will autofill the upper most name listed.
