IB's price data is fine, its their volume data that is lame, but if you don't do major volume analysis and focus on price its fine. I think CQG offers Osaka Exchange. Not many others. So how long have you been trading it? The last six months must have been great.

indeed, I started in january. I was usually doing short term 4-5 hour positions. but lately i have been doing longer term stuff, buy and wait to print money in their bull run. In april i only traded 2 contracts as I didnt spend much time in the flatter days

btw: I saw CQG offers OSE, but I couldnt find any US brokers offering. same with TT, any ideas?

Yes, its frustrating. I'm looking around. I wouldn't be surprised if some US brokers starting offerring it as volatility and interest has picked up. Nice timing by the way, starting in Jan. I'll keep you posted if i find anything interesting. Thanks for the info! P.S. -- the Singapore $25/tick future is also of interest. Several US brokers and data providers support it as well.

yea, Japan is really starting to get people's interest now I bet. SGX products are on my radar but i am not ready to shift to the bigger ticksize of their fullsize. you know, I give up looking around because IB's commissions are really, amazing. I really do miss a real data feed at times. but I feel like I've grown out of trading short time frames on a DOM for now. feel free to pm me if you start 'er up

Will do. Thanks for the info again. I would wish you "good luck" in Japanese, but I don't know how
