I wish that was my flying the Thunder Mustang. I'm also a fan or the SR-71 too. More than fast enough at mach 3.

What about this one?

Not as fast as your fighter plane. But it sails rather smooth and is not as noisy.

You can even open a window to smell the clouds.

For getting started just use a winch that pulls you into the sky, then look for a decent updraft.

Well, since we're talking about muscle...I thought I'd throw up a pic of the bird I used to fly....a Boeing 747-300. She's a -200 model with a -400 wing on her and GE CF-6 power.....51,800 lbs of thrust at sea level....per engine! Heavy Metal....(think Iron Maiden) ....similar in overbearing obnoxiousness to a 67' 427 tri-power vette.

She was a real dream to fly....as long as you didn't get on her bad side.
